Episode 1 - 7

The Dead Woman's Crossing - Series spans over a decade of Ghost Hunting and searching for the truth. I had just turned 20 when we shot the first episode, I'm now into my 30's. So, within these videos you will also witness a growth of maturity and respect for what may be out there, beyond the shadows.

Episode 1
"The Legend Of Katie James"
It's January 29, 2000. A fresh snow has fallen a few hours before. A young man makes a phone call to his best friend. "Grab your camera... Were going out to Dead Woman's Crossing..." With facts in hand from a book called, "Haunted America" the two young men were on their way in search of the truth to an almost one-hundred year mystery. As they drove in a 1977 Chevy Nova they flipped through the pages and scanned the book. Many words were written but only a few stuck out, "1905... Murder... Decapitation... Shot in the head... Dead Woman's Crossing..." They finally arrived to their destination and quickly crawled out of the car into the cold winter night...

Episode 2
"The Bridge and Cemetery"
It had been a week since Justin and I had been to Dead Woman's Crossing. We brought along a friend from High School named, Howie. He had experienced paranormal activity in the past but had never been to Dead Woman's Crossing. Howie wanted to know if the legend was true. The first stop was Dead Woman's Crossing... Once there they planned to seek contact with Mrs. James. The next stop was the local cemetery where Mrs. James body was laid to rest.

Episode 3
"The Prank"
I guess from the title you can tell where this episode is going to end up. This is the next afternoon from Episode 2. Justin called me to see if he wanted to make a trip out to Dead Woman's Crossing. I agreed. What I didn't know is that someone was waiting...

Episode 4 & 5
"The Invitation"
I had just bought my first camera. It was a 2000 model Sony Analog 8mm. Boy was I excited... And where did I want to go? Dead Woman's Crossing! Episode 4 features an audio only clip of me inviting Justin to tag along with my step-brother Michael and I. He was interested but had plans for the evening.

"A Night Unfulfilled"
Without Justin, Michael and I planned to venture to the cemetery to view the grave of Mrs. Katie James. Our next stop is Dead Woman's. Once we shot the sun set we planned to go back out later that night. At the time I was living with my Step-Dad and had just bought that camera.  I was working full time and wasn't paying him any rent. Me and Michael decided to show my Mom and Step-Dad some of the video we had shot. Michael was out of the room when my Step-Dad asked me where I had got the camera. I lied and told him that I was borrowing it from a friend. Then my Mom enters the room, spots the camera and asks the same question. Michael tells her that I bought it. Doug, (Step-Dad) got pissed and told me to never lie to him again and stormed up-stairs.  It ended up being a very windy evening anyway and with what happened, we didn't feel up to it.  So... that is the reason this was a night unfulfilled.

Episode 6
"Reunion Of Two Friends"
What a great episode! This is what it's all about... Driving around town, checking out the babes.  And driving out to Dead Woman's Crossing!  Justin has been through a life changing experience since you last saw him. He joined the Marine Corps. and was on temporary leave during the holidays. What I didn't know is that he was well on his way to fight the war in Iraq. This really isn't the greatest ghost hunting episode, but it does show how two young men have changed in a short time span.

Episode 7
"You Turn Left... I Turn Right..."
I think the title explains it all. It had been a while since I had heard from Justin. The last I heard he was still stationed at a base in California. He called me up and said, "Hey bro, you want to hang out and go out to Dead Woman's? This might be the last time in a while. It's a sure thing. They plan to ship me to Iraq within the next week. So lets hang out like old times." I was excited by the offer. The only problem is that I didn't have a camera at the time. Justin was irritated. I said, "Well I've got this audio recorder." Justin thought that would do just fine. This was the last time I would see my pal for a few years...
